QUESTION-:

If 5 bricks each of mass 15 kg are kept one over the other, find the pressure experienced by the 2nd brick from ground level.( Dimension of brick 75 x 50 x 10 in cm units)

EXPLANATION-:

We know that-:

\leadsto \underline{\boxed{\tt \dag\;\; P=\frac{F}{a}}}

Where-:

  • P is pressure
  • F=Force
  • a=Area

So the calculate the area first we will find the force-:

We know that-:

\leadsto \boxed{\underline{\rm\dag\;\;1\;kg\approx 10\;N}}

So 15 kg will be-:

→F≈15×10

→F≈150 N

Now finding area-:

\leadsto \boxed{\underline{\bf\;\dag\;\; Area_{(1\;brick)}=L\times B \times H}}

Area-:

→Area=75×50×10

→Area=750×50

→Area=37500 cm²

Now we know Both Force and Area ,So let's find Pressure-:

\rightarrow \bf\; P \approx 150\times 37500 \\\\\dashrightarrow \boxed{\underline{\bigstar\;\; \bf\; P \approx 5625000\;P}}

So the pressure experienced is 5625000(Approx)

[This is thing is to be noted that the answer is not exact because the value of Force came out to be 150 N but the exact value is 147 .09 N]
