let the number be x
one number = 3x+5
other number= 4x-7
ACCORDING TO THE PROBLEM
3x+5 = 4x-7
putting variables and constant at one side
we get,
3x-4x = -7-5
-x=-12
so minus and minus will be cancelled and then we will get ,
x = 12
