If 5 kg of salt coating rs.5/kg and 3 kg of salt costing rs.4kg are mixed find the average

Total Cost of salt rs 5*5=25

Total cost of salt rs 4*3=12

Total Cost of salt rs =25+12=37

average cost is =(total cost/total kg)=37/8=4.625
