Answer:

The work requires 5x6 = 30 man-days.

The work requires 10x5 = 50 woman-days.

1 man does (1/30)th of the work in 1 day and 3 men can do (1/10)th of the work in a day.

1 woman does (1/50)th of the work in 1 day and 5 women can do (1/10)th of the work in a day.

So 3 men and 5 women can do (1/10)+(1/10) = (1/5)th of the work in 1 day.

Thus 3 men and 5 women will complete the same work in 5 days.

Answer:

B) 5 days

Description for Correct answer:

5M×6 days=10W×5 days5M×6 days=10W×5 days

3M = 5W

MW=53MW=53

mb=21mb=21

1M (work) = 5 units/day

1W (work) = 3 units/day

Hence,

Total work

=(5M×6)=5×5×6(5M×6)=5×5×6

=150 units

Required Time for

(5M+3W)(5M+3W)

=Total workWork done/dayTotal workWork done/day

150(5×3+3×5)=15030=5150(5×3+3×5)=15030=5 days
