Question :- If 5 men can do a work in 10 days and

10 men can do the same work in 5 days. Which proportion is this ?

Answer :- Inverse Proportion .

Explanation :-

we know that,

  • Number of men doing work is inversely proportional to the number of days in which work is done.

we have given that,

  • 5 men can do a work in 10 days .
  • men can do the same work in 5 days .

so, by above inverse proportion relation we get,

→ Number of men * number of days= k (constant)

then,

→ 5 * 10 = k .

therefore,

→ 10 * 5 = k

hence,

→ 5 * 10 = 10 * 5 .

hence, we can conclude that, given data is in Inverse Proportion.
