By unitary method

5 pencils = Rs 26

Find the pencils in 3 Dozens :-

1 Dozen = 12 pencils

3 Dozens = 12 × 3 = 36 pencils

Now,

Find the cost of 36 pencils :-

By unitary method

1 pencil = Rs 5.2

36 pencils = Rs (5.2 × 36) = Rs 187.2

Hence,

Cost of 3 Dozens pencils = Rs 187.2
