If 5 pipes can fill the tank in 1 hour, then 4 pipes will fill the tank in​

1 hour=60 minutes

then,

5 pipes can fill the tank in =60 minutes

1 pipe ban fill the tank in=60/5=12min.

4 pipes can fill the tank in= 12*4=48 min.

ans=48 min.

5 pipes can fill the tank in =1 hour                 ( given)

1 hour = 60 minutes

∴5 pipes can fill the tank in = 60minutes

1 pipe can fill the tank in=60 ×5=300 minutes

4 pipes can fill the tank in= (300÷4)minutes

                                            =75 min.

      75 minutes = 1 hour  15 minutes

Hence 4 pipes can fill the tank in1 hour 15 minutes.

Ans :-  4 pipes can fill the tank in 1 hour 15 minutes.
