Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Sec A=5/3

Cot A=3/4

Just draw a right triangle and use Pythagoras theorem these results will be easily obtained

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given that,

 5 sinA = 4

 sinA = 4/5

 sinA = opposite side to A / hypotenuse

then,

 we have to find adjacent side by using pythagoras theorem.

adjacent side^{2}=hypotenuse^{2}- opposite side^{2}

let take adjacent side square as shortcut "A.S^{2}"

A.S^{2} = 5^{2} - 4^{2}

A.S^{2} = 25 - 16

A.S^{2} = 9\\ A.S = \sqrt{9}\\  A.S = 3

A.S = ADJACENT SIDE TO A

secA = hypotenuse/adjacent side to A

secA = 5/3.

cotA = adjacent side to A/opposite side to A

cotA = 3/4

Hence,

(i) secA = 5/3

(ii)cotA = 3/4
