Given :   5^x.3^y=225 \times 405

To Find :   x^{2y-3x}

a. 27

b. 81

c. 125

d. 25

Solution:

5^x.3^y=225 \times 405

225 = 3 * 3 * 5 * 5  = 3² * 5²

405 = 3 * 3 * 3 * 3 * 5 = 3⁴ * 5¹

225 * 405  = 3² * 5² * 3⁴ * 5¹

xᵃ * xᵇ = xᵃ⁺ᵇ

= 3²⁺⁴ * 5²⁺¹

= 3⁶ * 5³

= 5³ * 3⁶

Equate with 5^x.3^y

x = 3  and y = 6

2y - 3x

= 2 (6) - 3(3)

= 12 - 9

= 3

x^{2y-3x}

= 3³

= 27

Hence Correct option is  a. 27
