If 50 ml of a liquid solute is dissolved in 500 ml liquid solvent then find its % by volume (v/v)

Answer: 9.090909..............

Explanation: Solvent/ Solution ×100

SOLVENT - 50ml = 0.05 litres

SOLUTION - 0.05 + 0.5 Litres

Now calculate,

=> 0.05/0.55 * 100

=> 1/11 * 100

= 9.0909..........%
