Given that 50 mL of water, is electrolysed.
Reaction is: 2H2O -----> 2H2 + O2
Volume ratio is -------> 2 : 2 : 1
Given, 2 volumes of water = 50mL
Therefore, 1 volume of water = 50mL/2 = 25 mL
Now, volume of Hydrogen produced = 2 x 25 mL = 50mL
Volume of oxygen produced = 1 x 25 mL = 25 mL
Reaction is: 2H2O -----> 2H2 + O2
Volume ratio is -------> 2 : 2 : 1
Given, 2 volumes of water = 50mL
Therefore, 1 volume of water = 50mL/2 = 25 mL
Now, volume of Hydrogen produced = 2 x 25 mL = 50mL
Volume of oxygen produced = 1 x 25 mL = 25 mL
