according to question

50/100x - y = 30/100 (x+y)

0.5x - y = 0.3x + 0.3y

0.5x-0.3x = 0.3y +y

0.2x = 1.3 y

x = 13/2 y

2/13x = y

now y is (2/ 13* 100) % of x = 66.66% of x

Question : If 50% of (x-y) = 30% of (x+y), then what per cent of 'x' is 'y' ?

\fbox {\Large \bold ANSWER} \\\\ Given,\ 50\%\ of\ \big(x-y\big)=30\%\ of\ \big(x+y\big) \\\\ \frac{50}{100}\times\big(x-y\big)=\frac{30}{100}\times\big(x+y\big)\\\\ \implies \frac{x-y}{2}=\frac{3\big(x+y\big)}{10} \\\\ \implies x-y=\frac{3\big(x+y\big)}{5} \\\\ \implies 5\big(x-y\big)=3\big(x+y\big) \\\\ \implies 5x-5y=3x+3y \\\\ \implies 5x-3x=3y+5y \\\\ \implies2x=8y \\\\ \implies \frac{x}{y}=\frac{8}{2} \\\\ \implies \frac{x}{y}=4\\\\ \implies y=\frac{1}{4}x\\\\ \implies y=\fbox{25\%\ of\ x answer}
