MV = Rs.25

Rate of Return = Dividend÷MV*100

= 30÷25*100 = Rs.120.

Sum invested = ₹1,250

dividend received = ₹150

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of shares = 50

Market Value of each share = ₹25

The amount invested in 50 shares = 50 × 25

                                                          = ₹1,250

Dividend declared by the company = 30%  (on FV)

Face Value of each share = 10

Face value of 50 shares = 50 × 10 = 500

Dividend received = 30% × 500

                              = 0.30 × 500

                              = ₹150

Sum invested = ₹1,250

dividend received = ₹150
