Answer:

2.5 kg of pulse will require 25g of salt

25 kg of pulse will require 250 g of salt

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. for 2.5 kg of pulses

by using unitary method we conclude that :

for 500 g of pulses we use 5 g of salt

so, for 2.5 kg of pulses = how much ?

therefore 2 .5 kg = 2500 g

so , 2500 ×5 ÷500

12500 ÷ 500

= 25 g of salt

similarly

2. for 25kg of pulses

by using unitary method we conclude that :

for 500 g of pulses we use 5 g of salt

so, for 25 kg of pulses = how much ?

therefore 25 kg = 25000 g

so , 25000 × 5 ÷ 500

125000 ÷ 500

= 250 g of salt
