if 500 ml of 5 M HCL solution is diluted to 1500 ml what will be the molarity of the solution obtained?

I'm not sure but I think it should be right:

Since concentration is inversely proportional to volume,

Volume is made thrice and hence concentration should become 1/3rd to keep the product volume×concentration=constant.

Hence, final concentration= 5/3= 1.67 M.
