Given- Principal = Rs.5,000, Amount = Ra.5,700 and time = 1 year
Simple interest = A mount – Principal
= 5,700 – 5,000 = 700
Formula- Simple interest = Principal x time x rate /100
Then, Rate = 700 x 100/5000 x 1
= 14%
And the interest of 5 years of Rs.7000 –
Simple interest = 14 x 5 x 7000/100
= Rs.4,9,00
Then, the amount will be end of the five years = 7,0,00 + 4,900 = 11,900
Hope it helpful
