if 50cm^3 of 0.200mol/dm^3 Na3CO2 was diluted to 250cm^3 0f solution what would be the concentration of resulting solution ​

(units have yo be in dm^3)

Step 1: Always convert If you need to

50/1000= 0.05 dm^3

250/1000= 0.25dm^3

step 2: find the number of moles

moles = concentration × volume of substance

m = 0.2 × 0.05 = 0.001 Mols

step 3: find concentration of product:

concentration = moles / volume of substance

c = 0.001 / 0.25 = 0.004 mol/dm^3
