Answer:

5^{2x - 1} = 25^{x-1} + 100

Firstly take all the terms to the base of 5,

5^{2x - 1} = 5^{2(x-1)} + 100

or, 5^{2x - 1} - 5^{2(x-1)} = 100

or, \frac{5^{2x} }{5} - \frac{5^{2x} }{25} = 100

or, \frac{5 X 5^{2x} - 5^{2x} }{25} = 100

or, 5 X (5^{2x})  (5-1)= 2500

or, 5 X (5^{2x}) = \frac{2500}{4} = 625

or, (5^{2x}) = \frac{625}{5} = 125

or, (5^{2x}) = 5^{3}

from LHS and RHS,

2x = 3

or, x = 3/2

So, 3^{1+x} = 3^{\frac{5}{2} } = 9\sqrt{3}
