Question :- 55 kg 200 grams of grains is to be distributed among 12 students equally. How much each student will get ?

Solution :-

we know that,

1 kg = 1000 gm .

Let us assume that, each student will get x gm of grains.

so,

→ Total students * each student gets = Total weight of grains .

→ 12 * x = 55kg + 200gm

→ 12x = 55*1000 + 200

→ 12x = 55000 + 200

→ 12x = 55200

→ x = 4600 gm

therefore,

→ x = 4000 + 600

→ x = (4000/1000) + 600

→ x = 4 kg , 600 gm.

Hence, each student will get 4kg, 600 gm of grains.
