Difference between largest and smallest share

\sf{\underline{\orange{Answer:-}}}

Let the shares of money be 2x, 3x and 9x

Given, total money = $560

A/q

2x + 3x + 9x = 560

⇒ 14x = 560

⇒ x = 560/14 = 40

  • Largest share = 9x = 9*40 = $360
  • Smallest share = 2x = 2*40 = $80

Largest share - smallest share

⇒ $(360 - 80)

⇒ $280

Ans. = $280

let, 2x+3x+9x=560=>14x=560=>x=40=> therefore, the values are 80,120,360 there the difference between highest and lowest digits is 360-80=280
