if 5608 + a is a perfect square then what is the value of a and please give the answer with solution

Well, 5608 is not a perfect square, first lets find the square close to it by long division method.

Divide 5608,

we get the quotient as 75 and the remainder as 17

We will have to add the least number, so we will take the number we divided it with. which is 75.

take the square of 75, we get, 5625

Least number to be added, so we subtract,

5625 - 5608

= 17

17 is the answer
