If 5cota a=12, then find sina,cosa and prove that sin^2a+cos^2a

by pithagoras Therom we have

hypotenuse=√25+144 =13

we have cot a=12/5

then tan a=5/12

Sina=5/13 and cos a=12/13

sin^2a+cos^a=1

(5/13)^2+(12/13)^2

=25/169+144/169

=169/169

=1 proved
