x=4 and y=1
5(4) + 11(1) = 20 + 11 = 31
which is prime
:. x+y = 5

Isabella6: Thank u......can I know why u hv taken value of x as 4

Answer:

x+y = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

By trial and error 5x+11y  is prime number for

(x,y)=(2,3)

(x,y)=(3,2)

(x,y)=(4,1)

minimum value of x+y=5
