if 5x+2y=11 and 2x+y=13 then y =??​

Answer:

Bu using substitution method,

5x + 2y = 11

5x = 11 - 2y

x = (11-2y)/5x

let , 2x + y = 13 eq. 1

Now put the value of x in eq.1

= 2 [ 11 - 2y ] / 5 + y = 13

= 22/5 - 4y/5 +y = 13

= [22-4y+5y] /5 = 13

= 22 + y = 13 ×5

y = 65 - 22

y = 43

HENCE y IS EQUAL TO 43.
