Answer:1/36

Step-by-step explanation:

Take x in LHS

5x-2x= 3/4-2/3

3x= (9-8)/12 taking lcm

X_ 1/12 * 1/3

X= 1/36

Given equation is

 \frac{5x - 3}{4}  =  \frac{2x - 2}{3}

By cross multiplication, we get

3(5x - 3) = 4(2x - 2)

15x - 9 = 8x - 8

Getting all the X terms to one side, we get

15x - 8x =  - 8 + 9

7x = 1 \\ x =    \frac{1}{7}

Verification :-

 \frac{5 \times  \frac{1}{7} - 3 }{4}  =  \frac{2 \times  \frac{1}{7}  - 2}{3}

 \frac{ \frac{5}{7}  -  \frac{3}{1} }{4}  =  \frac{ \frac{2}{7} -  \frac{2}{1}  }{3}

 \frac{ - 14}{7}  \times  \frac{1}{4}  =  \frac{ - 12}{7}  \times  \frac{1}{3}

 \frac{ - 4}{7}  =  \frac{ - 4}{7}

Therefore

x =  \frac{1}{7}
