If 6.3 gram of sodium bicarbonate are added to 15 gram of ethanoic acid. The Residue left is found to weigh 18 gram. what is the mass of carbon dioxide released in the reaction???

According to the law of conservation of mass

mass of reactants= mass of products

mass of sodium bicarbonate + acetic acid = mass of CO2 + Residue

6.3g + 15g = 21g

so mass of carbon dioxide = 21g - 18g =3g
