If 6 and -1 are the zeroes of p(x) = x² + Px + Q, then (x - 6) and (x + 1) are the factors.

∴ (x - 6)(x + 1)

⇒ x² + x - 6x - 6

⇒ x² - 5x - 6

∴ P = -5   ;   Q = -6
