4 more container lorries are required to transport 180 tonnes of goods in 4 days.

• Weight of goods transported by 6 lorries in 5 days = 135 tonnes

=> Weight of goods transported by 6 lorries in 1 day = (135 tonnes) / 5 = 27 tonnes

=> Weight transported by 1 lorry in 1 day = ( 27 tonnes ) / 6 = 4.5 tonnes

• Weight transported by 1 lorry in 4 days = 4 × 4.5 tonnes = 18 tonnes

• Total weight of goods to be transported in 4 days = 180 tonnes

=> Number of lorries required to transport 180 tonnes in 4 days = Total weight of goods / Weight of goods transported in 1 day

=> Number of lorries required = (180 tonnes) / (18 tonnes)= 10

• 6 container lorries are already there.

Therefore, number of container lorries required more =  10 - 6 = 4
