If 6\× is the probability of an event. then the value of '×' can be any values betweeen 6 and ∞.

We know, probability of any event cannot be less than 0, that is negative and probability of an event cannot exceed 1.

So, probability of the event (P) always lies between 0 and 1.

Or,

1 ≥ P ≥ 0

1 ≥ (6/x) ≥ 0                          [Give, Probability of event is 6/x]

1 ≤ (x/6) ≤ ∞                [Taking inverse, signs of inequalities also get reversed]

6 ≤ x ≤ ∞

So, x can assume any values betweeen 6 and ∞ for the event to exist.
