Concept-

Total work = Efficiency ( work done per day ) × Total time taken

Given-

It is given that 6 men or 8 women can do a piece of work in 20 days.

Find-

Find how many days will 3 men and 6 women take to do the same work.

Solution-

It is given that 6 men or 8 women can do the piece of work in 20 days. Then,

6 men = 8 women

1 men = 8/6 women

3 men = 8 × 3 /6 = 4 women

3 men and 6 women = 4 women + 6 women = 10 women

Given that, 8 women can finish a piece of work in 20 days.

So, 1 women can finish a piece of work in 20 × 8 days

So, 10 women can finish a piece of work in 20 × 8 / 10 days = 16 days

Therefore, 3 men and 6 women will take 16 days to do the same work.
