actually there is a mistake in the question

instead of four it has been written force

so ,

6 oil tankers can be filled by a pipe in 4 half hours

6 tankers = 4 half hours

4 half hours = 2 hours

6 tankers = 2 hours

then 1 hour = 6/2

1 hour = 3 tankers

now we have  to find how much it will fill in 4 hours

=> 3*4

=>12 oil tanker
