Answer:

Given :- 6 oxen = 28 days

8 cows = 28 days

then, 1 oxen = 28/6 days and 1 cows = 28/8

then, 9 oxen = 28/6 × 9 = 42 days and

2 cows = 28/8 ×2 = 7 days

Therefore we get 42 days and 7 days will 9 oxen and 2 cows graze the same field.

\huge\boxed{Answer}

6 oxen = 8 cows (graze a field in 28 days)

So ,

1 Oxen = 8/6 Cows

1 Oxen = 4/3 Cows

9 Oxen = 4/3 × 9

= 4 × 3 = 12 Cows

Now ,

From formula :-

M(1)*D(1) = M(2)*D(2)

8 * 28 = 14 * D(2)

8 * 2 = D(2)

D(2) = 16 Days

Therefore , 9 Oxen & 2 Cows graze the same

field in 16 days .
