if 6 per cent of a number is 36 , then the number is ?

Given that 6% of a number is 36.

= > 6% of x = 36

= > (6/100) * x = 36

= > (6x)/100 = 36

= > 6x = 3600

= > x = 3600/6

= > x = 600.

Therefore, the number is 600.
