Then

According to the question --->

a + 5d = 10. (1)
a + 14d = 46 (2)


Subtracting (2) from (1)

a + 14d = 46
a + 5d = 10

9d = 36
d = 4

So substitute the value in (1)

a+ 5d = 10
a + 5*4 = 10
a = 10-20
a = -10

So 10th term

a + 9d = -10 + 9*4 = -10+36 = 26

a+5d =10
a+14d-(a+5d) =46-10
a+14d-a-5d=36
9d=36
d=4
putting the value of d in (i)

10th term = a+9d
= -10+9×4
= 26
