Given :- 6x - 3y = 12

To Find :- 2x - y = ?

(a) 3 (b) 4 (c) 10 (d) 6

Solution :-

6x - 3y = 12

taking 3 common,

→ 3(2x - y) = 12

now, dividing both sides by 3,

\rightarrow\sf \:  \frac{ \cancel3(2x - y)}{ \cancel3} =  \frac{ \cancel{12}}{ \cancel3} \\  \\ \rightarrow\boxed{\bf2x - y = 4}

therefore, value of 2x - y is equal to (b) 4 .
