it is in the form of a^m*a^n=a^(m+n)
then taking only exponential
3-5=2x-1
-3=2x-1
-2=2x
x=-1
then taking only exponential
3-5=2x-1
-3=2x-1
-2=2x
x=-1

hey ....
bases are equal then equate the powers
3-5 = 2x-1
-2 = 2x-1
2x = -2+1
2x = -1
x = -1/2
bases are equal then equate the powers
3-5 = 2x-1
-2 = 2x-1
2x = -2+1
2x = -1
x = -1/2
