if 7 grams of N2 and 8 grams of O2 and 22 grams of Co2 are present in a gaseous mixture find mole fraction of N2 in the mixture​

Mole fraction=na/na+nb+nc

where na is no of moles of nitrogen, nb is no of moles of oxygen and nc is no of moles of CO2.

NO OF MOLES = WEIGHT [GIVEN]/GRAM MOLECULAR WEIGHT

na =7/28 =1/4

nb=8/32=1/4

nc =22/44 =1/2

na+nb+nc=1

So, mole fraction X is 1/4/1

That is 1/4or 0.25
