if 7 is the mean of 6 observations then what is the mean of each observation is decreased by 3

HEY Buddy.....!! here is ur answer

Given that.... 7 is the mean of 6 observations

then the sum of the observations = 7×6 = 42

Now 3 decresead by each observation

it means 3×6 = 18 decreased by their total
=> 42–18 = 24

Now the mean = 24/6 = 4

sum of numbers =7×6=42
if each decrease by3 =3×6=18
