7 workers build 7 cars in 7 days.

This is essentially saying that 1 worker builds 1/7 of a car in 1 day.

So, if there are 5 workers, they'll build 5/7 of a car in 1 day.

If we divide the number of cars by the amount they build every day, we get that 5 ÷ 5/7 = 7

So it'd still take them 7 days!

5 workers can make 5 cars in 7 days.

Given : 7 workers can build 7 cars in 7 days.

To find : The number of days that 5 workers will take to build 5 cars.

Solution :

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process. (our goal is to calculate the number of required days)

Here, we will be using the normal arithmetic method.

So,

7 workers can make 7 cars in = 7 days

1 worker can make 7 cars in = (7×7) days

1 worker can make 1 car in = (7×7)/7 days

5 workers can make 1 car in = (7×7)/(7×5) days

5 workers can make 5 cars in = (7×7×5)/(7×5) = 7 days

(This will be considered as the final result.)

Hence, 5 workers can make 5 cars in 7 days.
