Now, according to question,
30% of X=540
30/100 x X=540
3/10 X =540
3x/10=540
3x=540x10
3x=5400
x=1800
So total number of students =1800
Total students= Boys + Girls
1800=Boys +540
Boys =1800-540
Number of boys = 1260
