\huge\bold\pink{SOLUTION:-}

Let the number of girls be 'x'

% of girls = 70%

Therefore,

% of boys = 30 %

Now, according to the question

 \frac{30}{100}  \times x = 504

 =  > x = 504 \times  \frac{100}{30}

 =  > x = 504 \times  \frac{10}{3}

=> x = 1680

Let the total no of students be x.

Given that

30/ 100 of x = 504

Therefore

x= 504 ×10 /3

= 1680

So

the no of girls in that school = the total no of students - the no of boys in that school

= x -504

=1680 - 504

=1176 girls (answer)
