Current in a conductor is the total charge flowing through it per unit time.
So if 7200C charge had flown through the conductor in 1hr or 3600s, then in each second, on an average, 7200/3600 C charge must have flown through the conductor. That is, on an average, 2C charge was flown through the conducter per second.
Hence the average current in the conductor is 2A.
