Step-by-step explanation:

in an A.P.,

7th term = a+6d= 34......(1)

13th term=a+12d=64.......(2)

Subtract eq 1 from eq 2,

a+12d-a-6d=64-34

6d = 30

d=5

substituting d =5 in eq 1

a+30=34

a=4

17th term =a+16d

=4+16×5

=4+80=84
