7x-3y=2. (1)

5x+y=14. (2)

multiply by 3 to equation (2)

15x+3y=42 (3)

add equation (1) and (3)

22x=44

x=44/22

x=2

put value of x in equation (1),

7(2)-3y=2

14-3y=2

-3y=2-14

-3y= -12

y =4

hence x=2 and. y=4

2x-y=2(2)-4=0

2x-y=0
