For any number to be divisivle by 3, the sum of the digits must also be divisible by 3.

According to the question,

7+y+8 must be divisible by 3.

Therefore, 15+y must be divisible by 3.

Since, 15 is already divisible by 3, hence the least value of y is zero.

Hence the number will be 708.
