if (-8) is the zero of the polynomial f(x) = x²+ax-72 and g(x) = x²+10+b, find a and b also find the other zero of f(x)​

P(x) =x^2 +10x+b

P(-8)=(-8)^2 +10*(-8)+b=0

64-80+b=0

-16+b=0

So, b=16

And, P(x)=x^2 +ax-72

P(-8)=(-8)^2 +a(-8)-72=0

64-8a-72=0

-8a=72-64

-8a=8

So, a=-1
