Let the required no of hectares be x. Then

More men, More hectares (Direct proportion)

Men8 : 36Days24:30}⋮⋮ 80 :x

=> ( 8 * 24 * x) = (36 * 30 * 80)

=> x= 450

36 men can reap 450 hectares in 30 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

8 men can reap hectares in 24 days = 80

1 men can reap hectares in 24 days =\frac{80}{8}

1 men can reap hectares in 1 days =\frac{80}{8 \times 24}

36 men can reap hectares in 1 days = \frac{80}{8 \times 24} \times 36

36 men can reap hectares in 30 days =\frac{80}{8 \times 24} \times 36 \times 30 = 450
