Answer:

Given:-

  • Length = 8cm
  • Breadth = 4cm
  • Height = 2cm

We know that ,

Formula for cuboid to find its total surface area

= 2 ( lb + bh + hl )

= 2 ( 8×4 + 4×2 + 2×8 )

= 2 ( 32 + 8 + 16 )

= 2 × 56

= 130

Hence , Total surface area will be 130cmcuboid.

Hope it helps you !!!

Given:  length = 8cm

             width = 4cm

             height = 2cm

To find: The total surface area of the cuboid

solution: we know that the formula of total surface area  of a cuboid is 2(lb + bh + lh)

              given, the length (l)= 8 cm

                          the breadth(b)= 4 cm

                         the height(h) = 2 cm

           Applying the formula of the surface area of the cuboid,

                        = 2 (8.4 + 4.2 + 8.2) cm²

                         = 2 (32 + 8 + 16) cm²

                        = 2 x 56 cm²

                        = 112 cm²

Hence, the total surface area of the cuboid is 112 cm².
