If 8x-7y=11, and 7x-8y=4, then what is the value of x-y??​

Equation 1: 8x-7y=118x−7y=11

Equation 2: 7x-8y=47x−8y=4

Plot the lines on graphs

8x-7y=11 --- Black line

7x-8y=4 --- Red line

Point of intersection gives the solution

So, Point of intersection = (4,3)

So, x = 4 and y = 3

So, x+y=4+3=7

Hence x+y is 7
