If 9 times 9th term of an arithmetic sequence is equal to 8 times 8th term find 17th term. How many term of these sequence makes sum 0

let 9th term be m and 8th term be n and 17th term be p

m = a + (9-1)d = a + 8d

n = a + (8-1)d = a + 7d

p = a + (17-1)d = a +16d

It is given

9m = 8n

9(a+8d) = 8((a+7d)

9a + 72d = 8a + 56d

9a - 8a + 72d - 56d = 0

a + 16d = 0 = 17th term
